I'm starting this blog as a place to place my notes on and reviews of the "TheFresh20" meals I make on an almost daily basis.
If you're not aware, theFresh20 is a wonderful meal planning system in which the staff at Fresh 20 send you a shopping list containing 20 ingredients each week and 5 recipes for 4 people for that week's dinners. I've always loved cooking but TheFresh20 makes it really easy to have something different on a regular basis, to expand the range of ingredients and techniques in my repertoire, and to avoid falling back on junk food, or the same old standbys.
It's well worth the money if you can afford it (it's about $3/mo.), and they have multiple options for vegetarians, vegans, etc. etc. I subscribe to the vegetarian plan even though i'm an omnivore and generally find it delicious and filling.
So what's this blog for then? Well, I find some of the recipes a bit hard to follow or to execute well, and others a bit bland. So I'm going to post my thoughts, reviews, and reactions in hope that others may find them useful or, at the very least, that I can keep a record of what I liked and didn't like.
